I was living in Harlem on 135th St, and as soon as the major netowrks called the elections for Obama, the neighborhood began to erupt. What started as honks and shots quickly gave way to one of the most genuine and emotional celebrations I’ve ever witnessed…

That terrible day that the towers were destroyed I lived in Prospect Park. Knowing me well my dad called me to order me not to go take photographs, I thanked him for his advice and told him I would follow my photographer Instinct.
